My phone rings. I had just been thinking to myself, “Wouldn’t it be nice to not have to deal with rush hour traffic?” It’s not a number I know. I sigh. Long day. I hope it would be a short call. I was just in the middle of ordering an Uber. “Lucy?” “Uh huh,” IContinue reading “Spur of the Moment”
So I have a theory. Sort of like the theory which says men and women can’t be friends. You know that theory (how I feel about it is another blog post for another day.) Well, my theory is this; that adults find it difficult to make new adult friends. They just stick to their oldContinue reading ““And I thought you were my friend””
My dad always had this open-door policy. No “beware of dog” business on the gate, Although as I think about it, we’ve always had dogs. At one time, we had five. Buzz and her gang. But they were there to keep away other kinds of danger. I never felt as if I couldn’t bring any friend home.
